Dr. Andrew Kipp earned his B.S. in Secondary Education: Chemistry at Kansas State University and started working as a high school chemistry teacher at Gardner Edgerton High School in the Kansas City metropolitan area. During his eight years teaching there, he earned his M.S. in Secondary Teaching at Pittsburg State University and Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at Kansas State University. He also remotely co-instructed a variety of undergraduate and graduate elementary-track and secondary-track education courses at Kansas State University. His research interests include student absenteeism, teacher and student agency, school improvement, and STEM instructional strategies. His hobbies include biking, traveling, board games, video games, spending time with his wife, Andrea, and petting his corgi, Luna!
