Student Parking
All students must obtain a parking permit for each vehicle or motorcycle that will be parked on Texas A&M property. A parking permit does not guarantee a parking space, but does authorize parking in designated areas.
Students planning to park on campus must obtain a FREE parking permit by registering online at tx.ag/HECMParkingRegistration or by visiting the Safety and Security booth in the Main Lobby.
If purchasing at the Safety and Security station in the Main Lobby, please provide the make, model and license plate number for the vehicle you will be driving to campus. Also, please bring your Texas A&M University student ID card or a valid driver license to present when purchasing a parking permit.
Visitor Parking
There are designated parking spots for campus visitors. Whenever possible, visitors are encouraged to contact the department they wish to visit to confirm parking arrangements before arriving to campus.
Building Access
The Higher Education Center at McAllen is accessible after hours by using the Aggie Card issued individually to all faculty, staff and students.
